Phantom

Brief:

Develop one polygonal model that is a complex non-character object. One of the primary goals of this project is learning how to keep topology clean.

Proposal:

I wanted to recreate the Phantom, which is a gun in a video game called Valorant. Valorant is a first-person shooter game that I really enjoy playing with my friends.

In game model:

These are the front view, side view, and top view of the in-game model. The player can see the guns displayed in-game like this which I think is really neat.

Process:

After modeling it in Maya, I moved it into Substance Painter. Substance allowed me to paint and texture map freely. Some of these details include the rust particles on the final renders.
